Top Attractions in Las Vegas


While visiting the strip in Las Vegas is usually about gambling, drinking, and going to clubs, there is a wide variety of fun and interesting things to do and see while you are in Vegas. Over the years Las Vegas has developed into a great tourist destination with eclectic food, fascinating sites, great shopping, and a wide variety of entertainment options. Here are few ideas of some of the fun attractions that you need to see next time you are in Las Vegas.

The Fremont Street Experience:

Fremont Street Fremont Street is a classic part of Vegas that every visitor needs to see; it captures the feel of old Las Vegas, with many of the hotels and casinos in this part of town dating back 100 years. One of the best parts of visiting Freemont is the Freemont Experience; on Freemont street, there is an outdoor shopping mall with a covered atrium, where light shows are displayed on the ceiling each night; this is a truly fun and unique experience you have to see.

The Stratosphere Rides:

stratosphere casino rides The Stratosphere Casino and Resort is one of the most unique experiences in Las Vegas, modeled after the Space Needle in Seattle Washington, this casino towers over 1,000 feet above the strip. The main attraction that draws people to this casino is the rides at the top, which are unlike any other rides in the world. There are three rides at the top of the casino, two of which have you hurling over the side of the building 1,000 feet above the ground. If you have the courage, and the stomach to handle these rides, it is one of the most unique experiences you can have in Vegas.

The Water Show at the Bellagio:

This show in the lake outside the Bellagio Casino incorporates jets of water and light, timed and choreographed to music to create a fantastic and one of a kind entertainment display. Whether it is your first time viewing it, or whether you have seen the Bellagio water show before, it is impossible to fail to be amazed by this beautiful feat of engineering.

These three suggestions merely break the surface of what there is to do and see in Las Vegas; however, these are some great options to get you started, and to give you a chance to break away from partying for a while to see the amazing attractions that Las Vegas has to offer. Whether you are in the mood for fine dining, rides, concerts, or interactive shows, there is always something new and exciting to experience in Las Vegas Nevada. Don’t worry with tons of Las Vegas transportation options like the bus, private cars, limos, and even a monorail you will be able to see everything pretty easily.

  1. One of my favorite things to visit is the Coca Cola Factory, even though it was better a long time ago. You can still try different Coke products from around the world which is fun even though some of them are gross.

  2. Nice post. If you’re staying there a while you should also check out the gardens at the Bellagio, Red Rock National Park, The Shark Reef at the Mandalay bay, the Fashion Show Mall, and the Adventure Dome at Circus Circus.

  3. Next time I go I’ll definitely have to spend more time at The Stratosphere. Although if you have the time and the money any of the Vegas shows at Circus Circus or the Stark Trek Experience at The Hilton are frickin sick.
