Memorial Day was the perfect day to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. At first I wanted to climb Mt. Timpanogos but I was worried about snow so I chose to hike the Desolation Trail to Salt Lake Valley Overlook. The trail is up Milcreek Canyon about 3.4 miles from the mouth. I parked next to the Inn. After 24 long flying hours I had finally arrived in the small town Julicia, Peru. I didn’t know what to expect, from the air Lima looked like a typical South American style city, but Julicia looked completely different.
